Jack Anderson- 6-foot, 160-pound right-handed pitcher and right- handed hitting corner infielder. Shows developing feet defensively and a clean arm to make throws across the diamond. The glove is solid and he shows the ability to work through the ball. The setup at the dish is wide, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is uphill and loose. The frame projects to fill out nicely.
On the mound, the delivery is methodical in nature. The lift is repeated and the arm stays in slot. The shoulders need to stay on track longer. The slot is a high ¾ in nature.
7/26/22
Anderson is a 5-foot-10, 140 pound two-way prospect. He hits out of a balanced, strong stance with the bat relaxed. The bat path stays on plane a long time and produced a lot of hard line drives. During the games, Anderson showed the ability to have great at bats against plus velocity and showed some pop to the pull side. Defensively, Anderson is a gifted catching prospect. His initial set up is clean, he receives well and transitions well to throw. On the mound, Anderson has a simple delivery. He uses small movements to get into a good position at the top. He separates well and creates good direction. The arm is loose and produces a late running fastball with life. He showed feel for the secondary stuff and located it well.
