Lucas Sarno: SS/RHP, (2027) Austin Preparatory, MA. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic lean frame. Athletic and projectable at the plate, Sarno's best exit velocity was 82 mph. (60.9 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced wide stance with a handsy controlled load, then uses a small stride. Bat speed was developing, displays a simple loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Above average athletic in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 81 mph; had next level soft hands, a natural exchange, and athletic in control footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.20. (Max spin ; Avg ).
Lucas Sarno: SS/RHP, (2027) out of Austin Prep, MA. is a 5-foot-7, 120-pound infield prospect. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 77 mph. Sarno starts in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. He then uses a short stride to initiate a simple, flat swing that stays on plane through contact. During his rounds, Sarno showed good balance and a gap to gap approach. In the infield, he was up to 73 mph on his throws across the diamond, while showing he had a clean exchange, smooth, consistent footwork, and sure hands. Sarno also recorded a time of 7.83 in the 60-yard dash.
