Physical: The 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect showcased a solid blend of physicality and athleticism in the movements. 6.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance utilizing a repeatable lift and replace stride for the timing mechanism allowing for a launch from the shoulder. Generates a slightly uphill barrel path through the hitting zone while plugging the left centerfield gap primarily during batting practice. Fluid and whippy swing that creates loud contact at the front of the plate. Feel for hands is evident in the box, finds barrels on pitches in any quadrant. Recorded a 93 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The middle infielder demonstrated a low center of gravity while getting downhill through the fielding window. Hands work softly out in front and can push and pull depending on the hop. Quick first step generates range to both the glove and backhand sides. Showcased a feel for a multitude of routes and played at a 4.15 pace during defensive evaluations. Displayed comfortability making the play on the run while throwing from multiple arm angles. SS - 79 MPH.
5-foot-9, 165-pounder has added functional size and strength and size to his frame since we last saw him. The right handed hitter starts from a narrow, square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Displayed a line drive approach with a solid feel for the barrel during an above average round of batting practice. Registered an 89 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 6.85 60-yard dash. Flashed athletic defensive actions with active feet and a soft glove hand while showing accurate 77 mph arm strength across the diamond.
5-foot-8, 145-pound right-handed hitter begins with a square stance utilizing a leg-hang stride to start his swing. Initially high hands move straight backwards when he loads as he hits to a stiff front-side upon contact. Showcased the ability to hit balls with backspin to gaps with an 82 mph bat exit velocity. Displayed quick movements during defensive evaluations with soft, smooth hands as he recorded throws of 69 mph across the infield. Demonstrated adequate foot-speed with a 7.38 60-yard dash.
