3/17/19

6-foot-1, 190-pound, large, wide, athletic frame. The shoulders are broad, strength throughout, a well proportioned athlete. A right-handed hitting corner infielder, showed well on both sides of the field. At the plate, the stance is balanced, wider feet, slightly open. The hands are loose and relaxed at the shoulders, bat starting in more of a flat position. Small controlled leg lift, hands get back have separation from frame, swing is short to contact. The hands look to stay inside the baseball, barrel is in the zone. The approach is more middle to pull, creates lift to the swing. The tee exit velocity is above average clocked at 90 mph, solid hard contact in batting practice, has enough pop to beat the pull side defenders. Defensively, wide set up, works low to the ground, hands are soft out front, smooth clean feet in transfer, gains ground. The arm action is clean, working from a ¾ slot, clocked at 77 mph, has enough strength to stick at third. Showed good range moving to the glove side to start the double play. Brings value, can play either corner infield corner position, may project out a tick more at first base.

Tee Exit Velocity: 90 mph
Arm Velocity: 77 mph

3/25/18

6-foot, 188-pound strong athletic frame. He is a corner infielder with good hands. The arm action is clean and works out of a ¾ slot. The arm was clocked at 75 MPH from third base. At first base, gets off the bag quickly, feet are clean around the bag, gains ground on all throws.  The arm is super short and quick when starting the double play. The sixty-yard dash was run at 8.28 seconds. He is a right-handed hitter with a slightly open and wide stance. He uses a decent sized leg kick for timing and has a strong lower half. The hands work well and have a clean path to the ball, keeps the hands inside the baseball, looks to drive it to all fields. The approach is more  mid to pull and he makes good contact consistently, looks have above average power to the pull gap. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 82 MPH and should continue to climb as he gets stronger. Interesting player, shows ability to play defense at both corners, with the ability maneuver the barrel to the baseball.

Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.28
Exit Velocity: 82 MPH
Arm Velocity: 75 MPH

10/30/16

Right-handed hitting third baseman from Rhode Island. The glove is solid at third, improving the prep steps to work through the ball are a must. The arm works at a ¾ angle and he threw 64 mph across the diamond. Ran a 5.3 down the line on his dig. At the plate, the set up is even with his feet and the hands are clean to the ball. The front shoulder comes off the ball, leading him to a pull approach. The path is long and flat, the barrel does find the ball often based off the days workout. Tee exit velocity of 73 mph.
