The PBR Florida Holiday Classic is back for a 2nd year. The event is a two-day event for 2023-2026 players throughout Florida and several other northern states. The event will take place December 17-18th at Sanford Memorial Stadium in Sanford, Florida.

Benefiting Charities around the Holidays

The PBR Florida Holiday Classic will provide players a chance to update their PBR Profiles before the Holidays. The event will also benefit charities as a portion of each registration will be donated to charities St. Jude, Special Olympics, Wounded Warriors, and Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief.

We will also be donating to Toys for Tots. Players who commit to bringing a toy to donate will get $50 off their registration. Use code Toys4Tots at checkout and please bring a toy to the event.

Players can register for the charity they would like to support. Each team will represent a different charity. After the event is over, PBR Florida will donate an additional $500 to the winning team's charity.

Similar to our fall State Games, the Holiday Classic will feature 4 teams of 20-25 players. Each team will participate in a pro-style workout showcase as well as three games over the two days. All hitters will receive TrackMan and Blast players during BP, while pitchers will receive Trackman data from their outings during gameplay. Players will receive Swift Performance Data during the 60 yard dash as well as edited workout video in their PBR profile.

The showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website, which is subscribed to by more than 900 colleges and pro scouts. Event information including statistics and scouting reports will also be posted on the Prep Baseball Report’s website, at www.PrepBaseballReport.com.

SCOUTING, TECHNOLOGY AND DATA ANALYSIS IN ONE EVENT

PBR PROFILE

Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the PBR Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new PBR profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process. Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your PBR profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one stop shop for recruiters and scouts.

MIZUNO

All showcase prospects will receive a numbered PBR jersey sponsored by our partners at Mizuno. The Mizuno Tee is the all around tee shirt for every activity, made from lightweight textured fabric, and used to identify prospects throughout the showcase process.

STATS

PBR stats are the industry standard in the scouting community, carrying the highest credibility in actionable data. PBR profiles are the most reliable resources for prospect information due to this reason alone. Stats are collected using only the highest of standard equipment including Brower laser timers, Trackman and Stalker radars. All stats are hosted in player profiles accompanied by recently launched Performance Tiers that show where a prospect ranks among his peers.

VIDEO

All prospect performances will be professionally video taped, edited and uploaded into their PBR Profile. Videos will consist of multiple angles and record all aspects of the showcase including 60’s, live batting practice, and defensive performances. Videos are hosted in PBR Profiles and used for video spotlights, content, social media and more. Videos are accessible to all PBR+ subscribers.

SCOUTING REPORTS

The Prep Baseball Report is built at the hands of some of the most tenured and respected scouts in the industry. We pride ourselves on our level of prospect knowledge, most of which is gained through PBR events. Showcases are designed and engineered by state Scouting Directors with the goal of collecting as much information about a prospect as possible and relaying our findings to the public through data collection and scouting reports.

POST-EVENT CONTENT

One of the many results of a PBR showcase is getting all the information collected to the public in a timely and digestible manner. Every showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website and social channels through various forms of post-event content, leaderboards, video spotlights and more.

ACCOUNT DASHBOARD

In an effort to elevate the post-event experience for players who attend a PBR Showcase, the Account Dashboard is now your one stop shop to view all of your post-event deliverables, including your Video, TrackMan, Blast Data, Driveline Development Report, and more.

Additionally, to help you understand the advanced data metrics, we have partnered with Driveline, the world’s leader in data-driven player development, to generate analysis of your performance through the data sets with tips of how to identify strengths and improve deficiencies. All of which is hosted in your Account Dashboard
