Arkansas Fall Rankings Update: 2025 Class

Brian Walker and Scott Hood

As the Fall comes to a close and move into the Winter offseason, Prep Baseball Report Arkansas made a modest update to the 2025 class rankings.  The 2025 class in the Natural State is shaping up to be one of its best yet with already 10 Division 1 commitments off the board and many more talented prospects that should garner a lot of attention over the next few years.  Today we take a deeper dive into a few rankings risers and a newcomer to the list that should be one some recruiting boards.  We have already put some dates on the books for our preseason slate with three Preseason ID's as well as finishing it up with the Preseason All-State event in Conway on February 18th.

RANKINGS RISERS AND NEWCOMERS

Ridge Southerland RHP / 1B / Bryant, AR / 2025

Southerland continues to rise in the rankings with this update jumping into the number 9 spot.  Southerland has always showed the type of pitchability the next level is looking for and has started to see the fastball start to make jumps into the low 90's.  The 6-foot-3 and 205-pound Oklahoma commit has the type of physicality it takes to pitch at the next level and should continue to see rises in velocity as he progresses throughout his high school career.

Xorian Robinson SS / OF / El Dorado, AR / 2025

Robinson continues to see his stock go up now landing at number 13 overall in the Natural State rankings for the 2025 class.  The Memphis commit shows the most projectability with the bat in his hands where he has some serious power potential with exit velocities up to 98 mph.  What makes him an exciting follow it isn't just raw hand strength that is getting it done but a full body effort in the swing with strong use of the lower half.  At a lean 6-foot and 170-pounds, it is easy to dream on what his potential in the future might be as he continues to add strength.

Jayden Sloan OF / 1B / North Little Rock, AR / 2025

Sloan enters the rankings for the first time at number 15 overall in the state after a strong performance at the Natural State Games earlier this fall.  The OF/1B from North Little Rock has one of the smoother strokes from the left side of the plate that comes with surprising power with exit velocities up to 96 mph.  He is able to put up impressive power numbers from his lean 5-foot-9 and 155-pound frame thanks to strong overall bat speed and quick hands through the zone with a natural linear swing.  This type of swing plays up at a high level mechanically and is built to handle plus velocity in the future.  Sloan has put himself on the map and should be a prospect schools at the next level should add to their boards to follow.
