Arizona Class of 2020 Rankings Updated

Will Arnold
Arizona Director of Scouting

The Arizona class of 2020 has been updated, after a months worth of games into the season. There's quite a bit of movement in the top ten, with one new player entering. The class is very deep at the top, led by Ryland Zaborowsk, due to his very high ceiling and is starting to tap into his tools. The number two spot remains the same with Carson Tucker, who if the foot speed and arm strength continues to develop, could hear his name called in next years draft.

The list also includes a few new comers, including Kyler Stancato, who is an intriguing two way prospect from Mountain Ridge. The athletic lefty runs his fastball up to 86 MPH and with feel for a sharp breaking curveball.

Making noticeable jumps are LHP Cameron Hood and OF Brycen Tambone. Hood competes well with a mid 80s fastball and is one of the state leaders in strike outs. Tambone's bat will be his calling, producing hard contact with a large margin of error in his swing.
