Trosky Redbirds Scout Day - Pitchers

PBR California Scouting Staff

New Episode LIVE now!-At The Yard Podcast

SAN DIEGO, CA - Under sunny San Diego skies at a newly built turf field the Trosky Redbirds Scout Day took place with plenty of anticipation. Featuring a roster built mainly with high school players from North County and North City San Diego, the Redbirds featured many committed and uncommitted players. Notable Redbird committed players; UCLA commit 21' SS Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek ranks 55th in the state, UC-Irvine commit 21' Jacob Odle ranks 110th and Oklahoma commit 22' Eric Van Valkenburg ranks 75th. With the majority of the roster remaining uncommitted there are plenty of uncommitted NAIA, D3, D2, D1 talent level players left to scout.

Trackman, Blast Motion, radar guns, running sensors and a generator were hard at work powering the event. The classic showcase format ran smoothly with the batting practice showing highlighting the day with 15 home runs being struck. Blast Motion overall team score of 50 plane, 54 connection, and 48 rotation shows a team solid across the board with no glaring weakness and plenty of room to improve.
