All-Colorado Showcase: Quick Hits - 2023 Hitters

LaSalle, CO-- On May 25, 2020, PBR Colorado enthusiastically welcomed 150+ prospects to the ALL-COLORADO Showcase. After months of cancellations due to Covid 19. 2021’s, 2022’s and 2023’s safely gathered at BigFoot Turf in LaSalle, CO. 

Colorado’s 2023 Hitters are worth more than a peek. Today, PBR Colorado lists 2023’s to put on a follow list: 

+ 3B/OF Ashtin Gilo, (2023, Alexander Dawson) Switch Hitter with great mechanical approach. Good Foundation. Watch and Follow as he develops. Exit Velo 89. Great hands with line drive tendencies 

+ 3B/OF Brody Sprinkle, (2023, Chaparral). Tall and Lean, Brody demonstrated Gap to Gap approach with some lift. Best Power Potential in event. Exit Velo 87. Barrelled balls up in his BP round. Versatility with position, hitter 1st! 

+ SS/RHP Christian Wood, (2023, Rocky Mountain) Wood, a Northern Colorado product demonstrated attacking approach. 93 Exit Velo. Tall, Lean with long levers and potential for power. 

+RHP/OF Ryder Banks, (2023, Air Academy) Demonstrated strength and a pull side approach with good barrel contact. Has some intentional lift to swing. Exit Velo 88 

+LHP/OF Jackson Wilkerson, (2023, Valor Christian) Demonstrated good timing in his rounds. Line Drive Middle of the field approach for the LHH. Exit Velo up to 85. Maximizes lower half through ball. 

+ 1B/3B JT Shank, (2023, Rock Canyon) Consistent. Workmans type approach to the game. JT Swing catches your attention. Gap to Gap ability and Line Drive tendencies. 86 Exit Velo with potential for power as he develops 

+ SS/OF Walker Martin, (2023, Eaton) This LHH SS/OF continues to shine. Has Oppo abilities and gets inside the FB In with developing POP! 90 Exit Velo. Add ability to run and athleticism. This QB/SS/LHH is a Top 2023 Prospect 

+C/2B Jacob Syverson, (2023, Broomfield) Versatility with his position. Jacob shows ability to find barrel to ball. Strength just now coming, with good Bat speed and an Exit Velo of 83. Solid Ball Player 

+SS/3B Finley Bates, (2023, Douglas County) Finley has QUICK hands. Noticeable control of the barrel and has a middle of the field approach. Exit Velo 80. Kept hands inside FB In. His athleticism evident in all aspects of his game 

+ SS/RHP Conner Boyd, (2023, Legend) Confident in the box. Good solid foundation with minimal movements. Hands have direct path and barrel finds the ball often Conner had a Middle of Field approach Exit Velo 80. +Mechanics 

+RHP/OF Mason Bright, (2023, Severance) Punishing approach at the plate. Strong hands and barrel control Exit Velo 96 Raw power is intriguing. His development and refining as a hitter should continue.
