Scouting Report

8-4-18

6-foot-2, 170-pound right hand hitting outfielder who ran a 6.60 60. Simple, balanced set up at the plate.  Slow load to the back side and weight fires through the zone.  Exit velocity was 93 mph from a tee.  Hit several balls hard to the right center gap during the live BP round. In the field he is fundamentally sound and shows excellent anticipation.  Arm is long and over the top. Arm played at 86 mph.

1-28-18

6-foot-1, 165-pound right hand hitting OF. Fast-twitched player. High hips stood out, looks like there is a lot more room to grow. Probably will end up 6-foot-4, 190 pounds.  Very athletic. Lower half is solid through the zone. Pull-side power right now. Gets good extension through the ball and after. Exit velocity was 85 mph. In the field he glides to the ball, he is aggressive fielding through the ball and delivers an on target throw. Very athletic and uses his speed to close the gap on balls. Arm is accurate to the bag.  Arm velocity was 85 MPH.

 11-12-17

6-foot-1, 165-pound right hand hitting OF/RHP. At the plate he stands open with a long stride to come square.  Lower half is solid through the zone creating good pull side power.  Swing is long with extension out front.  Exit velocity was 85 MPH.  In the field he comes through the ball and stays square on his delivery.  Very athletic and uses his speed to close the gap on balls. Arm is accurate to the bag.  Arm velocity was 85 MPH.

10-20-17

High-waisted athlete who looked like a football player slot receiver or free safety. Strong, uphill path. Leg kick and down and back hand load sync up very nicely as he gets into a strong hitting position. Short to the ball with quicker hands, but is also pretty quick out of the zone with a single-handed finish. Very good athlete to follow.
