PBR Colorado strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Uncommitted, 6-foot, 175 pounds. Bats and throws right. Ackerman has a medium sized frame. Displays loose hands through the hitting zone which generates good bat whip through the zone. Has good bat strength with pull-side tendencies, but hits the ball where pitched generating gap to gap power. Upper and lower bodies are similar in length. Made consistent hard contact during live round. Exit velo was 89 mph off a tee. Behind the dish his feet were light and quick, while framing showed hand strength and softness. Made it look easy behind the plate. with pop times of 2.0-2.05 at 71 mph. Ran a 7.44 60 time.
