On Feb. 20, the PBR COLORADO team hosted the Colorado Underclass Invitational at the Marucci Clubhouse in Castle Rock, CO.  The event featured 75+ uncommitted underclassmen from all 4 corners of this great state.   Our staff collaborated to highlight the biggest takeaways and highlights from Saturday's event.  Over the next week, we will be highlighting our players through our series of Quick Hits.  We started our coverage with an extensive look at all players stats and an event STATS LEADERBOARD

Today, our coverage continues with a breakdown of Top Hitters and Performances in the 2023 Class:

Tommy Marsh, 3B/RHP, Cherry Creek/Slammers   Another strong showing for Tommy.  TOP TEN ranked by PBR Colorado, he has 2 Way skills.  Quick and efficient hands.  Had a Trackman Exit Velo at 99.28.  Continues to develop.  Great rotational acceleration.  Had top BLAST Hard Hit Percentage at 80%.  

Chase Jaworsky, SS/2B, Rock Canyon/USA Prime  LHH SS/2B that shows plus Bat Speed and great path through the ball.  Middle of the field approach.  Has a 6.95 60 and has 83 Arm Velo.  Demonstrated great athleticism as INF.  Strength just now coming.  Trackman Exit Velo 95.89.  Very Impressed with Chase and see  A LOT more in the tank.   TOP 2023 Follow

Sean Marlow, C/SS, Mountain Vista/Yard Dogs  Marlow is a versatile athlete.  Catcher Pop consistent in 2.0 range, strong arm and has ability  to play ALL positions.  Solid athlete with great actions as INF  Arm Velo at 85.  Attacking and aggressive hitter.  Trackman Exit Velo 95.56 / Hard Hit+72.7%.   Great showing at Underclass event.  Leader behind the dish

JT Shank, 1B/3B, Rock Canyon/Slammers  Strength added and JT Shank continues his upward developmental path.  Great LHH hands with ability to hit to all fields.  Line Drive tendency with power potential  Trackman Exit Velo =95.48.  + B

Ashtin Gilio, 2B/OF, Alexander Dawson/Slammers   Skilled switch hitter with great eye at the plate.  Ability to use all fields.  Demonstrated BS from both sides  Trackman Exit Velo at 93.58  GAMER with strong work habits   Will be a great table setter and run producer at HS at Collegiate levels   Arm Velo 86

Finley Bates, SS/2B, Douglas County/Yard Dogs, Produced some to the Top BLAST measurables at the event. Top Blast Hand Speed (27.30)  Top On Plane Efficiency (88%)  Confident and smart hitter that has ability to hit FB and OS  Grinder!  Top of the 2023 Class
