Power 25 Team Rankings - Final Update

PBR Staff

Our Power 25 rankings consider factors such as overall record, the strength of record, the strength of schedule, and insights from scouting and team research. However, in baseball, any team can win with solid pitching, defense, and timely hits. Now that the 2023 season has ended, it's time to review our final Power 25 Rankings.

After a successful sweep through the 5A playoffs, Valor Christian (20-8) has claimed the number one spot. They also secured their first 5A championship and ended the season with an impressive 16-game winning streak. Cherokee Trail (18-13) moves to two, as the team played its best baseball down the stretch, knocking off Legend, Pine Creek, Broomfield, Chaparral, Regis Jesuit & Rock Canyon on their way to a runner-up finish in 5A. Rock Canyon (22-7) claims the third spot after reaching the 5A final four. The Jaguars were one of the more consistent and exciting teams to watch all season. The 3A state champion, Eaton Reds (29-0), finishes the season at four, as they rolled through the season and finished off the three-peat. Regis Jesuit (20-9) jumps into the top five after their 5A final-four finish and should be an exciting team to watch over the next couple of years.
