Regis Jesuit Scout Day Quick Hits


Parker, CO-- July 2, 2021    Regis Jesuit High School and their Summer program hosted PBR Colorado on July 2.   Newcomers and high school veterans were a part of our Scout Day.  Full Evals and profiles for each player will be provided.   The day was a huge success as PBR Colorado had the chance to see the depth of the entire Regis Jesuit program.  

Top Players from all PBR events will have opportunities to be invited to future invite-only events such as  the PBR Future and Junior Future Games and our new PBR West Coast Games.


Today we highlight some of the programs top Upperclass Hitters:  


2022, Ben Gonzales,  OF/RHP   Long Levered with great balance, Ben had line drive path with slight lift. Quick hands and middle of field approach.  Produced a 91 exit velo and OF arm velo at 83.  Good overall athlete 

2022, Jack Hutchens, OF  Strong OF arm with plus jump and reactions as OF.  6.96 best 60.  Demonstrated plus bat speed, open stance with extended stride, pull side tendency with consistent line drive path.  

2023, Nate Lewis, OF  New transfer.  Lewis was impressive!  6.81 60, showed arm strength and athleticism as OF. Arm Velo 88, Built like a linebacker, strong with aggressive approach at the plate.  95.9 Exit Velo, has slight lift and lots of potential for future power.  

2022, Finn O’Connor, MIF.  Potential as MIF and RHP.  Strong with athleticism.  Finn uses wide base with open stance.  Slight lift with quick twitch hands.  Showed above avg potential on the mound.  Just developing as a pitcher, FB 86.1 and a legit SPIN on his SL and CB.  Keep an eye on FINN!

2022, Isaac Wachsmann, OF.  The Xavier commit has strength, quickness and athleticism!  6.82 60 and showed an OF arm Velo of 89.  Still continuing to develop, Wachsmann’s Exit Velo of 105.1 set a PBR Colorado record for Exit Velo.  Uses middle of the field approach.   Sky is the limit!

2022, Nate McHugh, C   Defensive asset Nate McHugh continues upward trend to one of Colorado’s Top catchers in the 2022 class.   2.01 Pop with consistent receiving and blocking skill set.  88Exit Velo  Some length and strength in swing.  

2022. Charlie Rogan, 1B/OF   The body catches your eye,at 6-6 215lbs, the Wichita State commit was very impressive.  The LHH has a pull side approach with slight lift.  Strong quick hands, still developing consistent path, but can jolt a ball at any time.  Future very bright for Charlie Rogan.
