Timo Aracena - The recent Embry-Riddle commit is coming off a shortened season where he batted .400 with 6 RBI. Vero Beach loses a ton of experience on the roster and Aracena will be asked to pick up where he left off last season.

OUTLOOK

The Indians were 7-1 in a shortened 2020 season but lost many starters including their top two pitchers in Nick Gorby (Texas Tech) and Hunter Parris (UCF). Offensively, Vero returns two of their top hitters in senior Timo Aracena (.400, 6 RBI) and junior Jake Randolph (.286, 2B). The two lead a fairly young team who looks to continue to build a strong program at Vero Beach. Look for RHP’s Jimmy McKinney and Jake Nolan to take over as the Indians' top arms.
