At the number one spot in the state is SS Jacob Lombard. Lombard is an uber projectable infielder with MLB bloodlines. His physicality as a freshman really stands out. Shows above average actions all around. Offensively, he already shows power potential and ability to impact the baseball. Defensively, whether it’s shortstop or third base, Lombard has the hands and arm strength to succeed on the left side of the infield. The tools are there and will continue to get even better. Lombard will be a strong follow for years to come.

Number two is Florida recruit, OF Brady Harris. Harris is extremely toolsy and can flat out hit. The athleticism plays in all aspects of his game. Run and hit are advanced for his grade. He has feel to defend in center field. The power potential will continue to grow as he fills out. Harris hit .326 with 4 home runs on Varsity this spring.

At number three is the top arm in the Florida class in RHP
Wilson Andersen. Andersen worked mostly out of the bullpen this spring for Jesuit but didn’t back down in big spots. The 6-foot-2 right-hander touched 92 this spring but pitched primarily around 90-91. His curveball flashed above average for swing and misses. Andersen is very projectable and looks to be a top arm down the road.

Coming in at number four is another Florida recruit in OF Lorenzo Laurel. Laurel is athletic with strength to his frame. Offensively, has feel to hit with fast hands in the box. Uses his strength well to drive the baseball. Power potential will continue to develop.

Rounding out the top five is a newcomer to the Florida rankings in OF Aiden Arnett. The Florida recruit moved to Florida from Wisconsin and hit .361 as a freshman. Arnett is physical with a lot of tools to like. An above average runner with gap to gap power. Arnett is another toolsy prospect with a big ceiling.
