Brady Skipper, SS, Coffee, 2022
North Georgia Commit. 5-foot-9, 165 pounds. Skipper was nothing short of remarkable this weekend at the GDC games. Nothing flashy to his game, except the plethora of extra base hits he accumulated throughout the weekend. Among these were a couple of homeruns, that showcased some power that may not be perceived when looking at his frame. Skipper projects more as a 2B in the future, but his bat will keep him in the lineup.

One of the top uncommitted arms of the weekend stands at an imposing 6-foot-5, 220 pounds. He faced a tough top of the order for Kennesaw Mountain. Thomas pitched to contact with a fastball at 85-88, he topped out at 90 for a couple pitches. He mixed in a breaking ball at 68-72. Very simple, clean delivery, there is still room in his lower half. The fastball will continue to tick up. He will be a great addition to any ‘22 pitching staff.

Social Circle

6-foot-3, 180 pounds; Long skinny frame with plenty of room to fill out. Very athletic with this length, as well. Plenty of fast twitch in the swing, allowing him to have gap-to-gap juice that could eventually develop into big time power. Righty thrower and lefty swinger has all the tools to develop into a big time player.

John DeVore Division

Allatoona

Riley Gaskin, RHP, Allatoona, 2022
5-foot-10, 160 pounds, Andrew College Commit; Gaskin was absolute dominant for Allatoona in his start, pitching late into the game. Featured primarily a 2 pitch mix consisting of a firm FB with some life, followed up with a firm slider coming out of the same high ¾ slot. Very athletic on the mound, as well as a very competitive nature. Projects as a good bullpen, max effort type of arm, that could make a push into a starting rotation with an incorporation of a third pitch.

William Mosley, C, Allatoona, 2022
Western Kentucky Commit. 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, Mosley was very impressive at the dish throughout the weekend. Not just a free swinger with tons of power, but flashed his power late in counts after fighting off some tough pitches. Moves well for a catcher as well, mixing in multiple extra base hits during the weekend. Prototypical catcher build that shows definitely potential to be an offensive threat on top of being solid behind the plate.

Ethan Sutton, 3B/RHP, Allatoona, 2023
Uncommitted. 6-foot-3, 205-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, physical build, broad shoulders, strength throughout, athletic, highly projectable. Easy effort power swing, gap-to-gap approach with big power pull-side. Ball jumps off bat, creates whippy bat speed. Runs well for size.

Started on the mound for Union Grove flashing a FB that reached mid 80’s consistently, while showing a breaking ball that has some potential. In the box, only seen from a left-handed swing, Clarington showed a very relaxed setup in the box expressing comfort and showing a good presence. Smooth swing allows for consistent line drives, that could develop into some power as his long, athletic frame fills out.

Harry Lloyd Division

Dunwoody

Owen Anchors, 1B/LHP, Dunwoody, 2024
6-foot-3, 175-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher, long, lanky frame, projectable, lots of room for filling out. Quiet setup with little pre-pitch movement, athletic bend in knees, short stride, quick load and cocking of barrel, balanced. Long, sweeping swing, barrel stays level through the zone for extended period. Power/pull approach. As he fills out, look for the bat to become a major power weapon.

Kell

Kennedy Jones, INF/DH, Kell, 2023
6-foot-1, 185 pounds, uncommitted. Jones has a big presence when he steps in the box coming from the cleanup spot for Kell. A tall upright stance mixed creating rhythm with a bat wiggle, Jones showed consistent barrels even on the balls he got out on. Showed the ability to time up a good FB and could be a very solid bat coming at the next level.

Caden Marcos, SS, Kell, 2024
5-foot-10, 165-pounds, right-handed hitting middle infielder, lean athlete, some twitch, started at second base and hit second for Kell all weekend. Athletic hands, quick speed through the zone, level barrel path, line drive type hitter. Fluid actions throughout.

Northgate

Ben Traxler, SS, Northgate, 2024
5-foot-10, 150 pounds, uncommitted. A young player, Traxler already shows the hit tool every time he takes the field. With a standard setup in the box, with not a lot of extra movement, Traxler makes consistent contact with the barrel that leads to gap-to-gap power. You can expect him to fill out as he continues to mature, giving him the potential to become a big time player.

Noah Moore, RHP, Northgate, 2022
6-foot-5, 180 pound, uncommitted. Moore is no-doubt a very intriguing arm to follow this spring. Very long frame, with plenty of room to grow, Moore picked up the save for Northgate on Friday evening. Flashed 3 pitches in his one inning of work, including a FB that reached mid 80’s in cold conditions, along with a serviceable CH and CB as well. Moore is definitely a person who could put on some weight and make some big strides on the mound.

North Cobb Christian

Michael Mullinax, OF, North Cobb Christian, 2024
Georgia Commit. 6-foot-1, 174 pounds. Simply put, Mullinax has the potential to become a big time player. Already committed to UGA, it is easy to see why. A silky smooth swing from the left side that generates power already, will continue to increase in that department. Mixing that with above average speed gives Mullinax all the potential to become not only an impact player during the rest of his time in high school, but the following levels as well.

Nicholas Stinson, RHP/1B, North Cobb Christian, 2023
6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed pitcher and left-handed hitting first baseman, long, lean frame, projectable, lots of room to fill out, athletic. On the mound, arm works short and clean on the back-side, quick arm speed, over-the-top slot, works downhill. Lived in the lower half of the zone with his fastball, overpowering at times, sat 88-90 in the 1st, settled in at 86-88. Breaking ball, 11/5 shape, some deception, swing and miss potential. Collected eight strikeouts over three innings, had some command issues leading to five walks, allowed only one hit.
