Evaluation: Fall(2016)- 6-foot-2, 215-pound muscular frame. Drop and drive mecahanics, low ¾ slot, heavy bowling ball action with cut on fastball at 82-85 mph- touching 87 mph. Tends to leave breaking ball arm-side. College sinker/slider type arm that could chew up considerable innings.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
ROGERS: A lot of Junior colleges and D3/NAIA private schools.

PBR: Have you taken any visits? Do you have any scheduled in the near future?
ROGERS: I went to Southwestern CC and will be going to Kirkwood CC here pretty soon, and I have visited Grinnell College.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
ROGERS: I just want somewhere that can get me to the next level of play as well as get my degree with ways to achieve a balance between my baseball and school.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
ROGERS: Pitched 32 innings at Valley with a 1.9 ERA.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
ROGERS: Up my velocity over the winter because I have already been making drastic jumps, and be one of the top pitchers in the state of Iowa by the time the season rolls around.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
ROGERS: I start at defensive end for #1 Valley High School football.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
ROGERS: 27 ACT and a 3.8 GPA
