Prep Baseball Report Kansas is excited to release week 7 of the Kansas High School Power 20 Rankings.  The list consists of the 20 best teams across the state regardless of class rank and will continue to be updated every Monday throughout the season.  This list has been compiled by the PBR Kansas staff with reliance upon our knowledge of the teams and players from scouting our tournaments, events, as well as the  games that PBR was in attendance for in 2021 as well as input from coach's preseason polls from all levels of the state.  As the season continues to progress, the rankings will update and become more heavily weighted on wins and losses as well as strength of schedule.  

This week, each of the top 3 remain in place. Life Prep Academy jumps into the rankings for the first time after running off 14 wins in a row including beating some top out of state teams. They could continue to rise quickly if they keep winning. McPherson enters the rankings for the first time and are only the second 4A team to make this list this season.

On Deck

Pittsburg and Goddard Eisenhower make the on deck list for the first time this spring and both are carry momentum into the post season. St. James continues to be a dangerous team with enough talent to beat anyone.
