The Top 3

Cameron Carter OF / LHP / Olathe West, KS / 2024

One of the most tooled out players in the country in the 2024 class, Carter has shown a 6.64 60, 87 outfield velo, 89 off the tee, and up to 88 on the mound from the left-side. The left-handed hitter produced in a big way all spring and summer hitting for average and stealing bags while also developing some juice. Carter is also and elite center-fielder who plays the position beyond his years.

Jack Jones 1B / OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2024

After a strong showing all summer, Jones left no doubt that he is one of the top young power hitters in the country with his performance at this year's Future Games. Jones collected multiple extra base hits including one of the longest home runs in future games history that was 105 off the barrel. Jones is not just a big popper though, he shows athleticism with a sub 7.0 60 and 92 mph from the outfield.

Blake O'Brien OF / RHP / St. Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2024

One of the most polished young players in the country on both sides of the ball, O'Brien is a true two-way prospect who knows how to play the game. O'Brian shined at this year's future games where he was up to 86 on the mound with an advanced 3 pitch mix while also collecting hits in the box. O'Brien ran a 6.94 60 and was 90 from the outfield as well.

The Risers
As with every season that goes by, many players take major leaps physically and developmentally. Below are some of the biggest risers since our latest rankings.

Keaton Vogelsberg 3B / RHP / Blue Valley Northwest, KS / 2024

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound corner infielder saw his infield velo and BP exit velo make a big jump at the KS Fall Prospect Games. Vogelsberg shows the defense to be able to stay at third and pop to be an impact bat in the middle of an order.

Carter Beach 2B / OF / Blue Valley Northwest, KS / 2024

At 5-foot-10, 130-pounds Beach is already showing wiry strength that promises projection. Beach is an advanced defender in the infield with plenty of arm strength and flashes some pop in BP with a flat an middle of the field approach. Beach had a strong showing at the KS Fall Prospect Games.

Carson Wasinger 1B / 3B / Blue Valley North, KS / 2024

Another young prospect who showed very well at the KS Fall Prospect Games is 1B Wassinger. The right-handed hitter showed exit velos as high as 94 mph in his round of BP showing added strength. Wasinger also moves well for a big guy posing a 7.07 60.

The Newcomers
In the offseason, we found a couple of difference makers who earned their way into our rankings. All three of the prospects below enter the rankings in the top 30.

Logan Groh 3B / RHP / Gardner Edgerton, KS / 2024

The physically advanced 6-foot, 180-pound infielder makes a splash entering the rankings at No. 16. Groh shows athleticism and a big arm in the infield which will allow him to stick on the left side of the infielder for the foreseeable future. Offensively, the right-handed hitter had the loudest round of the day at the Cavaliers Scout Day, continually hammering balls to the pull side gap.

Alex Koelle SS / RHP / Olathe North , KS / 2024

A physical and projectable two-way player, the 6-foot-1, 160-pound Koelle currently shines the brightest on the mound. The right-hander shows a long and clean arm action that he repeats well. Fastball was up to 83 mph at the Cavalier Scout Day and consistently in the zone.

Carter Liezert SS / RHP / Olathe East, KS / 2024

Already at 6-foot, 190-pound Liezert shows advanced physicality along with smooth athleticism. Defensively Liezert shows advanced hands and feet with the abiitly to put throws on the bag from different arm slots. Offensively, the right-handed hitter shows some juice to the opposite field gap, keeping the barrel in the zone for a long time.
