Mandeville, LA - The New Orleans Rising Stars ID was held on Saturday, April 8th at Mandeville High School.  The event consisted of prospects from the 2027-2028 classes and will serve as an identifier for our Junior Future Games teams this coming summer.  All players in attendance went through an extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman, the 60 yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more.  Pitchers were able to throw simulated bullpens during the workout and were able to get their numbers and metrics off of Trackman, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.  It was fun to see this new group of players for the first time and there were certainly quite a few who left a really good first impression upon our staff.
