Scouting Report

MD Future Games Trials 6.27.18

Long, lanky, athletic body type and projectable 6-foot-1, 170 pound frame with more room to grow. Hits from a balanced slightly open stance with feet close together. Starts tall on backside into leg kick for load, rhythm and timing. Creates nice hand separation and gets great extension. Explosive lower half involvement, quick hands and fast bat speed. Stays behind the ball well with a short, uphill swing path and an exit velo of 84 mph. Gap-to-gap type hitter with pull-side power. Could be a special bat as he fills out. Plays through the ball in the outfield with a quick, clean exchange and fluid footwork. Long arm action throwing from a high three-quarter slot at 76 mph. Ran a 4.91 home-to-first time.

Eastern PA Top Prospect Games 6.20.18

6-foot-1, 170-pound left-handed hitter starts from a narrow, square stance and initiates his hands with a lower half glide. Stays behind the baseball well and displayed the ability to barrel the baseball to all fields in a very solid round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. Went 1-for-3 while making hard contact in all at bats on day one of the event. Also stood out defensively with two outfield assists to cut down runners at the plate during game action. Moves well defensively and showed accurate 75 mph arm strength during defensive evaluations while running a 7.02 60-yard dash.

PA Preseason All-State Showcase 1.28.18

6-foot-1, 160-pound left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Showcased the ability to stay behind the baseball with a solid feel for the barrel and a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash and displayed accurate 76 mph arm strength from his outfield position.

MD Underclass Games 6.21.17

Projectable athletic frame with room to grow at 6-foot, 150-pounds. Hits from a taller, slightly open set up at the plate. Short load with small leg kick to hitting position. Simple stroke at the plate with quick hand and a short path with average bat speed. Exit velo of 74 mph. Nice foundation as a hitter once he gets stronger. Sound footwork in the outfield with a clean arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot. Would like to see work thru throws more to keep them more on line. Accurate throws at 70 mph.
