Monday night featured the MIAA "B" Conference Championship between the St. Paul's Crusaders and the Indian Creek Eagles. Coming into Monday night, Indian Creek needed to win to force the "If" game that would be played on Tuesday night; if St. Paul's won, they would be crowned the MIAA "B" Conference champions.

Indian Creek wasted no time, scoring three runs in the top of the first, led by RBI from Sophomore Xavier Quigley, Freshman Andrew Harris and Senior Christopher Kokoski. In the top of the second, leading 3-0, Indian Creek struck again, this time a huge six run inning to push the score to 9-0 after just two innings. Sophomore Riley Handwerger got the scoring started in the inning with an RBI double, followed by an RBI single off the bat of Junior Logan Frazier to push the score to 5-0. Freshman Andrew Harris forced in the sixth run as he was hit with the bases loaded, followed by a passed ball and a two RBI triple off the bat of Senior Christopher Kokoski. The Eagles would score one more in the top of the third, as they would take the game 10-0 in five innings, forcing the "if" game on Tuesday night.

Indian Creek will battle St. Paul's once again on Tuesday night at 5:00 pm at Harford Community College in a winner take all MIAA "B" Conference Championship.

The Sophomore shortstop has impressed each time we have seen him this year, and Monday night was no different. The hands work quick at the plate, showcasing the ability to keep the hands inside on tough fastballs on the inner third. Creates solid hand separation, shifting the weight nicely to the back side with some explosion in the hips through contact. Consistently utilizes a direct path to contact, staying level through with quick barrel action. Finished the game 2-for-2 with three runs scored, two doubles and an RBI.

Andrew Harris SS / 3B / Indian Creek, MD / 2025

A ton like in the advanced size and maturity out of the projectable Freshman. Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance with some bend in the knees, utilizing minimal hand movement with a shorter, quick back load. The hands stay inside the ball well, showcasing the ability to hit for strength to all parts of the field with strong line drive tendencies to the gaps and alleys. Finished the game 1-for-2 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored.

In a game that got out of hand quickly for the Crusaders, one of the bright spots was the Junior righty that came out of the bullpen for St. Paul’s. Pitches out of a quick side-step delivery, working into a medium sized balance point with strong momentum down the bump. Gets over the front side well, working with shorter arm action through release with some whip out of a high three-quarter slot. The fastball worked both sides of the plate effectively, with more feel to the glove side at 83-85, ranging from 2450 to 2550 rpm. The slider played well off the fastball during the outing, tunneling well with sharp 10/4 break at 72-73. Missed a ton of barrels throughout his three plus innings of work, giving up just four hits while striking out two.
