Towson faced off against Reservoir on Tuesday in the 3A State Semifinal game, vying for a shot into the 3A State Championship game, being played on Saturday. Towson would turn to their Sophomore standout, left-handed pitcher Jackson Huck, while Reservoir gave the ball to their ace, and one of their Senior leaders in right-handed pitcher Jordan Peguese (UMBC).

The Generals would strike in the first inning on a passed ball, all set up by a leadoff triple off the bat of Senior outfielder Justin Mealey. The score would remain until the top of the fourth, where Reservoir would rally after a leadoff single off the bat of Senior catcher Ben Davis (McDaniel). The Gators would play "small ball", eventually moving Davis over the third base with two outs. Senior infielder Justin Gutierrez would knock Davis in on an infield single to third, tying the score at one a piece. Towson would take the lead right back in the fifth, led by a one out single off the bat of Senior outfielder Nate Droski, who would later come around to score on a two out infield single by Senior Chase Supensky (Wilson), giving the Generals a 2-1 lead. Sophomore left-handed pitcher Jackson Huck dialed in after that, throwing a scoreless sixth and seventh inning to advance the Towson Generals to the 3A State Championship game.

Towson will face off with Chesapeake-AA for the 3A State Championship on Saturday at Regency Furniture Stadium.
