Saturday afternoon, top-seeded Patuxent will take on sixth-seeded Parkside at Regency Furniture Stadium for the 2023 Class 2 MPSSAA State Championship.

Patuxent was the State Runners-up in 2022, and like last year enter the Championship off of a semifinal win over Liberty, 5-4. Parkside took down seventh-seeded Sparrow's Point, 7-0, to punch their Championship Game ticket.
