Our rankings are broken up into two divisions: large school and small schools. We classify the 'large' schools as those residing in Class 5 & 6, while the small schools make up the remaining MSHSAA classifications. We rank what we believe to be the top-10 teams in the state at that level, as well as highlighting several 'On Deck' teams.

We've updated our individual 'Large School' and 'Small School' rankings with yet another week of games played across the state, and while no new teams slot within each list's top-10, we do have some shuffling throughout:

+ Liberty North jumps back up to the top spot after a perfect week.

+ Fort Zumwalt West picked up three wins this week, including two over conference for Francis Howell, and the Jaguars now sit at third overall, their highest ranking of the season.

+ The next four teams on our 'Large School' board are all climbing. Rock Bridge, Nixa, and Vianney all rise up one spot, with Jackson coming up two spots after a big week. Previously slotted at No. 3, Francis Howell slides down to eighth in this update.

+ On the 'Small School' board, Logan-Rogersville maintains the top spot, but John Burroughs rises a few, slotting right behind the Wildcats at second overall. Springfield Catholic falls two spots to fourth.

+ Portageville rises up to seventh from the 10th spot. Valley Park debuts for the first time this spring, slotting at eighth overall after a 17-2 start to the year.
