WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expectations for Team - The Blue Comets have a lot to be excited about heading into the 2023 campaign as they return a ton of experience from last year's playoff team. They will have depth on the mound and the lineup will feature experienced bats in Tanner Marsh and Davis Gore. Asheboro looks ready to make a run at the Mid-Piedmont Conference Championship and another playoff appearance.
Expected Team Strength - Pitching depth and returners on the mound with experience will be expected to help carry the 2023 season. With a large number of returners with multiple years of varsity level experience both at the plate and on the mound, expectations are high to compete for a conference championship and a run through the state tournament.
