WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expectations for Team - The Jaguars return much of their pitching staff from last season. Their experience combined with an athletic lineup that has some pop should allow them to make some noise in the always competitive Cap6 4a conference.
Expected Team Strength - The bulk of the pitching staff returns for the 2023 season, and has a strong core of Sophomores and Juniors position players. A surprising strength from 2022 was hitting 9 homeruns from 6 different players. Four of those players return and they combined for 7 homeruns.
QUOTE FROM THE COACH:
The team is built around mostly Sophomores and Juniors, so we are young and gaining experience. Losing our 3 year starting catcher, starting SS, and starting OF is never an easy task but we have a lot of young guys ready for the challenge and expect to play hard tough Jaguar Baseball.
