WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expectations for Team - The Bulldogs will have many new faces in the 2023 lineup but return plenty of mound experience. The pitching staff should keep them competitive as their lineups get at bats under their belt and should be competitive in the Southwestern 4A Conference.
QUOTE FROM THE COACH:
We have a lot of competition on the roster this year, both for spots in the lineup, and on the mound. Depth is something we haven't had at Butler in a long time, and we appear to have it this year. We have some tough kids that have really bought into doing things the right way, and playing for each other. We don't have any power 5 guys, but we have some blue collar guys that will do the little things for the good of the team. I can't wait to watch them get after it.
