WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Expectations for Team - Coach Graham returns 5 arms from last year's club that was competitive throughout the season. They should be strong through the middle of the field led by backstop Matt Connolly. With their experience combined with the young talent coming up the Falcons should be very competitive in the South Piedmont 3A which features several quality arms.
Expected Team Strength - The Falcons Return 5 pitchers from last season with another quality arm coming off an injury during the 2022 season. The Falcons will be strong in the middle of the field with the starting Middle Infielders and starting catcher returning.
QUOTE FROM THE COACH:
Our pitching staff will have depth and allow us to have options out of the bullpen. We will have a strong defensive team, especially with returning a MIF combo that produced 18 double plays last year,, which that will help us stay out of big innings. Offensively we will be quick on the bases and with timely hitting we will look to put pressure on the opposing defenses.
