2021 New England Unsigned Senior Games - Quick Hits

The Arms

  • Luca Maiello- A right-hander, threw a heavy baseball down in the zone up to 81 mph, hard biting slider at 71 mph. Strong durable lower half.
  • Austin Ouellette- A right-hander, continues to impress,  throws the baseball very well, up to 82 mph, short whippy arm action with tons of life, more in there. Mixed in two quality secondary offerings, slider up to 75 mph.
  • Joseph DeRienzo- A long and loose right-handed pitcher, arm action is super free and easy. The fastball was up to 82 mph, slider at 72 mph, with depth, tortured lefties with the changeup.
  • Justin Zamkov- A right-handed pitcher, works from a high ¾ slot, whippy and downhill. The fastball was up to 82 mph, with more in there. Mixed in a survey hammer piece at 71-74 mph. A catcher, turning into a pitcher, has a ton in his arm, a must see.
  • Casey Sexton- A left-hander, works from a lower slot, submarine at times. Mixes, adds and subtracts, weak contact.
  • Jacob Laudati- A quick armed right-handed pitcher, sink and run to his 80 mph fastball. Showed ability to spin the baseball as well.
  • Shaun Murray- A right-handed pitcher, two-pitch mixer, fatball up to 78 mph, located down to both sides, the breaking ball has depth. Competes, knows how to pitch, more in there.
  • Samuel Harris- A left-handed pitcher, up to 85 mph, loose and whippy, lots of armside action to fastball. Also brought a tough slurvey breaker at 72-75 mph. Lots to like with this one.
  • TJ Dimtriou- A left-handed pitcher, fastball at 80 mph with life. Threw the breaker for strikes.

The Bats

  • Manny Izzo- Super athletic from right-side, quick bat, pull approach, 92 mph exit, good arm from outfield.
  • Enger Paulino- A right-handed hitter, multiple hits on the day, above average pop to the gaps, can play multiple positions. Chance to be very good at the next level.
  • Sean (John) McAdams- A right-handed hitting middle infielder, who can play all three spots in the infield, swings it, brings a ton of energy, show’s major feel for the game.
  • Jamie Palmese- One of the better athletes in  New England, pull side power, multiple hits, a plus runner, tough, raw at times, with a huge upside.
  • Justin Gouveia- A left-handed hitter, very good legs, pop in the hands, plays super hard, big time sleeper.
  • Jared Wilhelm- A right-handed hitter, power to all fields, plus bat speed at 95 mph, multiple hits, beat the outfielders with ease.
  • James Mahoney- A big, powerful right-handed hitter, collected two home runs, and stays in the middle of the field. Can pick it at third base, arm clocked at 82 mph.
  • Chas Terni Jr.- A physical right-handed hitting catcher, line drive approach, old school mentality. Can defend behind the dish, arm at 75 mph.
  • Jack Dwyer- A right-handed hitter continues to impress, legit batting practice, rockets all over, a good runner at 7.05. Projects out to be an offensive second baseman.
  • AJ Soldra- A twitchy left-handed hitter, line drive approach, with pop to beat the outfielders, the swing is super smooth, can handle and control the barrel. A big time arm from the outfield at 90 mph, ran a 7.0. Need to see him.
