With the high school season in full gear, it's time for an update of the New Jersey 2026 Player Rankings. Taking into account performances from the fall, winter, and first half of the spring, we are giving the class of 2026 an update as we eye the end of the high school season and start the summer circuit.
The New Jersey 2026s possess some depth top to bottom. We wouldn't be surprised if there were some additional shakeups by the time the next update comes around. For now, let's review the top 10, risers, and dark horses as we head toward the end of the season.

The Breakdown
+ No. 1 Indiana commit RHP Jason Amalbert (DePaul Catholic) claims the top slot in the rankings. The lanky right hander has logged 34.1 IP, surrendering just 21 hits and punching out 48 in his freshman campaign. His fastball has been up to 89 and sits mostly 86-88 and shows a solid feel for a slider and changeup for strikes.
+ No. 2 Duke commit SS Sal Garcia (Delbarton) emerges into the No. 2 slot after a monster first half of the season for the Green Wave. Lean, athletic 6-foot-2 frame, Garcia is hitting .527 with 5 doubles and 2 homers hand is second on the team in RBIs with 24.
+ No. 3 is North Carolina commit LHP Kerrick Shannon (Hun). Wiry, athletic frame with some whip to the arm action, Shannon's fastball has been in the mid-80s thus far and shows advanced feel for a true 1/7 breaker.
