The 2020 Class has wealth of talent throughout the Top 50 prospects, but these athletes have continued to separate themselves into the best the class has to offer. We have electric speed, power arms and elite level athletes in this crew and each of these prospects will have a good chance of hearing their names called this June in the Major League Draft and PBR will be there to cover them through their senior season. 

1. CARSON WELLS

Wells, a USC recruit, is an undeniable talent with PBR Verified 6.47 speed to go with plus instincts at a premium position in center field that will play at the next level whether its with the Trojans or professional. Wells is the brother of Top MLB Draft prospect Austin Wells, currently #22 (1st Round) on the PBR Draft Board, but has made a name for himself nationally and has himself currently at #108 (3rd Round) on the PBR Draft board. Wells will be the key piece in the Gaels quest to return another State Title to Bishop Gorman.

2. JOSIAH CROMWICK

Cromwick is another highly touted prospect headlining the 2020 Class in Nevada with his abilities both at and behind the plate with a bat that can hit for both average and power and is projecting to continue doing both at the next level whether it is for the Ducks or an MLB team that may come calling in June. The Oregon recruit, widely known for his ability to manage the game behind the plate, earned a PBR Nevada best 1.77 Pop Time at the Southern Nevada Scout Day placing him into elite company as one of the best Pop Times in the nationally in the 2020 Class.

3. PAULSHAWN PASQUALOTTO

The Cal recruit has continued to prove himself as one of the top power arms in his class and supplements the velocity with a disappearing changeup that routinely keeps hitters off-balance. The Nevada Super 60 Representative has continued to dominate players throughout his high school career and the battery of Pasqualotto and Cromwick at Palo Verde will be a lethal duo for opposing teams have to face this Spring. 

4. GUNNER GOULDSMITH

Gunner Gouldsmith, who will be accompanying his brother Garrett Gouldsmith at Washington State next fall, is a lock down shortstop. A general on the field, he moves well to both sides, communicates and manages the game and can spray the ball to all fields with flashes of power to the pull side. This prospect and Reno are looking to finish the job this year after they came up one game short of the ultimate title in the 2019 season. With this Gouldsmith leading the way the Huskies are primed for another deep run this Spring.

5. MICHAEL RICE

Rice, a UCSB recruit, has an electric arm with the ball jumping out his hand as he ran it up to 91 mph at the Faith Lutheran Scout Day a raw, athletic delivery after throwing a state best 93 mph from both the infield and outfield earlier in the event. The two-way prospect has consistently gotten it done on the mound and at the plate throughout his high school career and is in a slightly different position as the four prospects above him as he is leading a talented, youthful group that even though they are young still has their eyes set on a deep run this season.
