The PBR Scout Days have become our way of kicking the year off with an event where players throughout Nevada are provided an opportunity to update their PBR Player Profiles with the base level information retrieved at the event. From the PBR Scout Day, we are able to track players progess, highlight standout performances and begin the process of selecting the very best to represent Nevada at the 2022 Junior Future Games (2026/2027), the 2022 Future Games (2024/2025) or the 2022 West Coast Games (2023). Both high school programs and club organizations have an opportunity to provide their players with an exclusive Scout Day for players within their program. 

This year, we will be adding the use of our TrackMan System to provide each player with the most accurate and relevant information from both hitting and pitching standpoint. Along with the TrackMan, we have rebranded our Open Scout Days in both Northern and Southern Nevada as the Northern Nevada Preseason ID and the Southern Nevada Preseason ID. These new event will provide the same opportunity as the exclusive Scout Days hosted by the high schools and club programs, as they will play a vital role in the selection of Team Nevada for the Summer of 2022. 

Program Spotlight

Faith Lutheran has quietly assembled a stacked roster that we project to have their breakout year as a program. After many dominant years at the 3A level, they have taken the bump to 5A in stride with legitimate prospects throughout their lineup and in their pitching rotation. Coach Anderson has built the program over his tenure to be a high character, culture focused group built from the inside and has recently seen some of the states top prospects transfer into the program to be a part of that. 

The Crusaders 2022 Class is highlighted their top arm and Oregon signee, Leo Uelmen, as well as Uncommitted RHP, Karl Ralamb, who has lived in the upper 80's and could be a great addition to a program in need of a projectable arm. However, the 2023 Class is where they have established themselves as a top program in the Silver State, lead by current #1 and SDSU commit - Zane Kelly, top Uncommitted right hander, but ineligible because of transfer rules - LJ Mercurius, Uncommitted LHP - Spencer Hatch, arguably the top Uncommitted bat in the class - Brandon Swanson, and sure handed middle infielder - George Holt. The 2024 Class is headlined by SDSU commit and Nevada representative at the 2021 Future Games - Christian Gross as well as intriguing middle infielder, Ben Lovering, who has seen significant physical development over the past few months the should help take each part of his game to the next level this Spring. This group is poised for a deep run this Spring with prospects on both sides of the ball, making them one of the favorites to raise the State Championship trophy at the end of the year.
