2014 Prospect Watch: Wes Noble (Lebanon)

The 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitching prospect from Lebanon High School has been lighting up radar guns over the past six months.
Equipped with a fastball that regularly sits 84-86 miles per hour and touches into the high 80’s, Noble already posses velocity that will garner early attention from college recruiters. In addition, he uses quick and clean arm action and shows a feel for both a changeup and curveball at this early stage in his high school career.
With plenty of mental and physical development in front of him, Noble already knows his needed area of improvement. He says, “I need to improve concentration and focus at times (on the mound).”
After attending a few showcases this summer, he is already receiving attention from several schools, including Dayton, Western Kentucky, and Wright State.
While he is an underclassmen, one thing is clear: Noble isn’t going to back down from a challenge. He firmly states, “I want the ball in big games.”
Last year as a freshman at Lebanon, he earned a varsity letter after pitching 16 and 2/3 innings.
This summer, Noble will be playing for the Custom X Heat (formerly the Dayton Heat).
Later this year, Noble plans to show off his talents along with many other players from the Classes of 2013 and 2014 at the Top Prospect Showcase on December 4th at Sinclair Community College’s Field House.
