2021 Ohio Top Prospect Games: Quick Hits - Top 'Tools' Guys

Zade Fusselman OF / RHP / Canal Winchester, OH / 2022

Report: OF Zade Fusselman (Canal Winchester) was at the top of the list when it comes to top physical traits from position guys post these eye popping stats: 6.65 runner on a slow track, near 90mph arm, upper 90s exit velocity, mid 70s batspeed /25 gs according to blast, and a mid 80s fastball on the mound. Very impressive showing for Zade coming off a big high school season.

Michael Molnar OF / Mason, OH / 2022

Report: OF Michael Molnar (Mason) has a ton to like physically. 6-foot-3, ran a 6.8 at this event (6.6 this winter), showed mid 80s arm strength from the OF, and took an explosive BP. The physical outfielder also had a multi-hit game.

Brayden Fraasman C / OF / Ross, OH / 2022

Report: C Brayden Fraasman (2022 out of Ross HS) put up BIG numbers at TPG. Let’s start with the bat where his ridiculous 44gs of rotational acceleration combined with upper 70s batspeed allow him to generate consistent mid to upper 90s exit velocity. Behind the dish he consistently popped in the 1.9s in a showcase setting courtesy of his quick feet and 80mph arm from the crouch.

Evan Weyler C / 1B / St. Xavier, OH / 2022

Report: Another backstop on this list is C Evan Weyler out of St. Xavier. Although the tools are already impressive, the ceiling is what separates him. 6-foot-5, functionally athletic prospect with a ton of room to add strength to frame. The arm is already advanced (79mph from the crouch) and the bat has 90+mph jump off the barrel. Sky's the limit for both those tools as he gets into a college weight room.

Trey Talboo OF / RHP / Saint Francis de Sales, OH / 2022

Report: The combination of size/athleticism ‘22 OF Trey Talboo (Toledo St. Francis DeSales) offers will put college coaches in the stands. The 6-foot-3 physical prospect has run producer traits in the box considering the upper 70mph bat speed and upper 90s exit velocity. Also ran a 6.8 and showed mid 80s arm strength from the outfield.
