2022 Team Strengths:

  • Our team chemistry and leadership is a strength.
  • Team speed and athletic will also be a very big part of our team.

Coach Outlook: "The 2022 Cavalier baseball team has the potential to have another great run. The pieces are there for a us to compete with our schedule, the MAC and in the tournament. The keys will be how our pitching depth developes and creating a consistent offense."

Top Returning Players:

  • Reece Dellinger, SR, OF/RHP, 6'2'" 185, RH htter, 3 year starter on the mound and in the outfield. 2021 Pitching stats: 7-1, 1 save in 52 IP, 93 SO, with 1.3 ERA 2021 Offensive stats: BA .378, 12 Doubles, 1 triple, 1 HR, 34 RBI, 28 runs scored and 16 SB
  • Adam Hrycko, Sr infielder, RHP pitcher, 5'10" 170, 2 yr starter, and relief pitcher Pitching- 4 IP out of the bullpen Offensive: BA 291, 2 doubles, 13 RBI, 14 run scored and 7 SB
  • Josh Kaup, Sr infielder and RHP, 6'1" 210, 2 year starter in the infielder and starting pitcher Pitching:23 IP, 2-2 record, with a 3.9 ERA Offensive: BA.213, 14 runs and 8 rbi's
  • Marcel Blasingame, Jr OF/Pitcher, 6'1" 175, beginning his 2nd year as starter in OF and on the mound Pitching; 3-1 record in 21 IP, 17 hits, 5 runs, 17 k's, 10 bb, Offensive:BA.375, 18 hits, 15 runs, 3 doubles, 16 runs scored, 13 SB
