2022 Spring Team Preview: University School Preppers

Team Name: University School Preppers
Head Coach: Robert McNerney
Division: II
2021 Record: 18-12
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3

2022 Team Strengths:

  • Defense
  • Athleticism
  • Strength

Coach Outlook: "We lost four incredible seniors who provided tremendous leadership, along with a lot of on-field production. It will be a challenge to replace 130 innings on the mound as well as the heart of our order. We have a talented junior class, led by Kent State commit Evan Shapiro that we will need to step up in a lot of different ways. They will need to be consistent performers in the weight room, on the practice field and on game day. We have 25 combined freshman/sophomores that will look to the upperclassmen for guidance. Our staff is confident, in year two together, that we are on the right track."
