Week one is in the books and PBR Oklahoma has gone through countless box scores as well as submissions for Player of the Week. Landon Flusche is no stranger to this award after taking it home in 2022 and it is his work both on the mound and at the plate that garner him the week one Player of the Week for week one of the 2023 season. The UCO commit worked 5 innings on the mound surrendering zero hits with only one walk and 6 strikeouts. Although the work on the bump was strong, it is generally not enough to garner the Player of the Week honors but Flusche added plenty on the offensive side of the ball. Flusche went 8-18 in their first 6 games including a 2b, 3b, 2 homers, and 8 RBI. With his ability to impact the ball on both sides of the ball and help the Tigers to a perfect 6-0 record to start the year, Landon Flusche takes home the week one Player of the Week.
