Physical: Strong/durable 6-foot-1, 180lb frame with physicality in the actions. 7.15 runner in the 60-yard dash. 

Offensively: RHH - Balanced, crouched stance with the hands starting high at the shoulder; utilized a short lift and replace stride entering the zone into a natural slotted position at a flat path through contact. Created lift after impact with minimal extra movements allowing for a quick trigger from launch. Notched a 29% fly ball rate / 30% line drive rate split, keeping the ball mostly in the air to the LCF gap for extra-bases. Worked up to a T329 foot batted ball distance and added an 88 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. 

Defensively: The primary backstop featured a wide, low traditional setup in the crouch with noticeable flexibility. Feel for the pocket and a soft glove hand operating on the corners, absorbing the baseball. Pops ranged from 1.94-1.98 with a low posture and smooth, replaceable footwork driving towards the target at a wide position and releasing from M ¾ slot (74 mph, accurate). Solid blocker as well showing down angles with early reads out of the hand.

Offensively: RHH. Wide base with bend in the knees. Hands gradually move back as weight is transferred into the rear leg. The left arm extends, only having slight bend in the elbow. Step and replace stride. Simple, repeatable swing.

Defensively: Primary catcher. Worked from both a left knee down and two knee up stance. Rocking motion pre catch during the catch and throw to gain momentum. Receives with two hands close to the torso. Exchange at chest height and at the bodies midline. Abbreviated arm circle.
