2022 PBR Player Rankings Update

Now that the summer circuit has concluded, it’s time for our staff to update the state’s player rankings, beginning with the Class of 2022. 

Our boots-on-the-ground scouting staff is constantly on the road evaluating players through the entire year. From the high school season into the summer travel ball circuit, we aim is to be your number one source for amateur baseball scouting news in Nevada. Our social media platforms, website coverage and events work in tandem ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in Nevada. 

Today we present the updated PBR Nevada Player Rankings for the Class of 2022 with some shifting in the top prospects including two new players earning their spot in the coveted Top 10 after excellent High School and Summer seasons.

TOP OF THE CLASS

#1 | Justin Crawford | Bishop Gorman - Crawford has continued to solidify himself not only as the top prospect in the state, but one of the top prospects nationally, capitalizing on his standout high school season with excellent summer season. The 6-foot-2 outfield prospect has separated himself with high elite level speed and athleticism that amplifies each part of his game. This summer has seen his add impressive physical strength that translated to flashes of present power at the plate, especially to the pull side while maintaining his ability to drive the ball to the opposite field gap as well. Nevada's top 2022 prospect has built quite the resume over the past year, culminating with a commitment to Louisiana State University, a #28 overall ranking in the PBR National Rankings Update and a ton of buzz coming from the professional side as he is projected to be one of the top high school prospects heading into the 2022 Major League Baseball Draft.
