Jarvis is Good; Tujetsch is Spectacular in AK win over Lake Norman

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

In a matchup that many may have felt came a little early in the NCHSAA 4A State Tournament, Lake Norman HS travelled to Ardrey Kell HS for a 2nd Round matchup.  Each club was setup to run out an ace and the game lived up to the billing with AK taking the 3-0 victory.

JR RHP Trey Tujetsch was simply dominant in a complete game effort.  The South Carolina commit worked 7 innings, giving up 2 hits and not allowing a run.  Over the 103 pitch outing, Tujetsch punched 8, throwing almost 70% strikes on the night.  Lake Norman’s best chance to score came in the 6th, with a runner on 3B and two outs. Tujetsch dialed up a fastball on the outer corner to get the strikeout to end the threat.

Offensively, the Knights went to work in the 1st off of Wildcat starter, Sr RHP Justin Jarvis (UNCW commit).
