Kentucky Player of The Week: 2022 RHP/IF Brady Morse

Chris Fuller
Kentucky Executive Director

morseAnother week, another more than 40 nominations for Player of The Week for games played April 3-9. While weather limited some games in-state, a number of teams traveled south for spring break and managed to play a lot of baseball.

As we combed through the nominations, a few players stood out, but ultimately it boiled down to this week's selection dominating both at the plate and on the mound.

Danville's Brady Morse, a Bellarmine recruit, put on a show on both sides of the ball as the Admirals spent the week at Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Morse went 9-for-12 at the plate with one double, one triple, and 5 RBI. On the mound, Morse pitched 10 innings of shutout baseball over two outings. He allowed just one hit, didn't walk a batter, and racked up 13 strikeouts in those 10 innings of work.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Brady Morse has been selected the PBR Kentucky Player of The Week for April 3-9.
