MONDAY, MARCH 13TH

+ RHP JP Robertson (Germantown, 2023) uses a fastball with tons of vertical arm side action. The Pearl River CC recruit and dual prospect was 87-89 mph on Monday night while touching 91 mph a couple of times. We first saw Robertson at our Golden Spikes Scout Day this past summer where he flashed a 98 mph outfield velocity! On the mound the righty goes after hitters with his fastball though does have good command of a change up that sits around 79-82 mph and mimics his fastball well. He uses a breaking ball with solid downward shape though is still developing command of the pitch. Will be very tough to deal with for opposing hitters with added command.
