GRAND PRAIRIE, TX - During the fall season The Mets Scout Team tees it up three straight weeks against three separate junior college teams, here is a look at what we saw from McLennan Junior College on Wednesday, September 26.

MCLENNAN JC

LHP/1B Grant Miller (Soph.) stands 6-foot-3, 225-pounds, with a strong, muscular frame. The left-hander works from an over the top slot with a short arm stroke that provides deception. Miller didn’t throw anything straight, and was able to stay off the barrel for two innings, whether it was a cut fastball, slider or curveball. Cut fastball ranges from 80-84, while his breaking ball (AKA=Slider) was 76-78 with tight rotation and 1/7 shape.
