Missouri 2025 Rankings: Position Players to Know

Earlier this week our staff updated the state's 2025 rankings, expanding the board to 75 players after the extensive amount of information we've gathered on these prospects throughout the spring and summer.

We released an official update on Tuesday that highlighted the players in the top 10, as well as some risers and fresh faces to the board. You can find that by clicking HERE.

Today, we'll spend some time working our updated rankings by highlighting 25 position players to know as their sophomore year kicks off. We'll be doing the same for pitchers tomorrow, so be on the lookout for that.

Carson Ramos C / Timberland, MO / 2025 Physical 6-foot-1, 185-pound backstop that impressed at the Underclass Games this summer, as well as at Creekside. Calm quiet presence at the plate, capable of impacting the ball with authority with barrel length through the zone. Quality defender behind the plate, popped 1.97-to-2.07 this summer. Eli Sitzer OF / Pembroke Hill, MO / 2025 Highly projectable 6-foot-2, 165-pound athlete that stood out at the MOKAN Top Prospect Games in June. Loose easy right-handed stroke, rotates well out of load with whippy levers, upside power bat as body fills out. Athletic feet in the outfield, lower half works in sync when attacking the baseball. Diesel Purnell SS / Raymore-Peculiar, MO / 2025 Started on the infield for a team that made it to the MSHSAA state playoffs. Ultra-confident athlete, switch-hitter with line drive feel from both sides of the plate and rhythm to pair.
