Rawlings Tigers Scout Day

The Rawlings Tigers PBR Scout Day featured 100 players from across six states at their brand new state of the art training facility in Chesterfield, Mo. The event featured a number of standout performances; 16 players recorded an exit velocity of 90 or better with Zack Hoffman (2022) leading the way with an event best 95 exit vlo, C Evan Damrio (2025) stole the show when it came to catcher pop times throwing multiple below the 2.0 mark with his best coming in at 1.97, the infielders were led by Charlie Berry (2023) and Peter Underwood (2023) with infield velocity's of 84 and Andrew DuMont (2024) registered in at 82, the top positional player velocity on the day belonged to OF Hayden Scout Roncalli IN, 2023) who lit up the gun at 90 mph.

There were a number of arms that opened eyes, the days top velocity belonged to Evan Abercrombie (2022) and Nile Adcock (2022) 85 mph.  LHP Lane Harris (2023) showed plus curveball and changeup will be a top arm in the '23 class to know. The young arms were perhaps the most impressive during the event Trey Jozwiakowski (2024), Whyatt Mammen (2024), Charlie Dieruf (2024) shoed off big fastballs topping out at 83 and 2025 LHP Mason Lee is going to be an arm to know down the road as a young very projectable arm.

Other notable performances included switch hitting Max Eastman flashing 93 mph exit vlo's from both sides of the plate and having an impressive showing during the live BP round.  Carson McCaleb and Connor McCaleb both turned well rounded days showing well both statistically and performance wise.
