JUCO Scout Notes: Region X Showcase Day 1

Campbell University hosted 11 Region X JUCO teams over the course of September 23-25. Each team was in attendance for one day, getting the opportunity to take a full infield/outfield and play two games at Jim Perry Stadium. College coaches and pro scouts were in attendance to get an early look at the players that will make-up the 2023 rosters.
PBR was in attendance all three days. Below we will break down some of the top performers and players that popped during the event. The coverage of Region X will continue throughout the fall and into the spring, following the players that will commit to a 4-year school and players that may be on the draft radar of Major League clubs.
Day 1 Scout Notes

Average frame with strength present at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Aggressive in his one inning on the bump. Stable head. Level through the delivery. Long arm swing with the elbow working slightly above the shoulder line. Lands on-line with a square foot-strike after a lift to the lower chest. Loose hips. 3/4 slot with good arm speed. Fastball at
