Prep Baseball Report Ontario's first event featured more than 75 prospects from across Ontario in Scarborough at Out of the Park Sports Facility. In addition to recapping the top players in 15 different categories and the complete statistical results, we offer our sneak peak at some of the top performers.

THE BATS
+ 2015 1B/3B Ryan Bothwell (Napanee District) is a big physical kid at 6-foot-2, 200-pounds. He swung the bat with some speed and strength with an exit velocity of 93 mph.
DEFENSIVE STANDOUTS
+ 2015 SS/OF Brian Wowk (Maxwell Heights) showed soft hands and athletic actions. Wowk was 84 mph across the infield.
THE ARMS
+ 2016 RHP Sam Turcotte (Don Mills) led the way with his fastball topping out at 89 mph. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound righty should be a top follow for the 2016 class.
