Team Outlook

This summer's Baltimore Redbirds 17U team is led by two Division 1 commits in Casey Bishop (Towson), Todd Mozoki (James Madison), and D3 Rhodes College commit Jack Wilhelm. The 14-man squad features ten players from the state of Maryland, three from New Jersey, and one from Pennsylvania. Playing a mixture of regional and national events, the Redbirds figure to be competitive with several intriguing uncommitted prospects. Uncommitted arms to follow this summer include righty Ben Magovern (Exeter Township PA), lefty Ben Fader (Howard), and righty Tyler Miles (Oakland Mills). Ben Wieman (Archbishop Spalding) and Jack Belbot (Loyola Blakefield) are two very solid two-ways players you won't want to miss along with middle infielder Ruven Pino (Bergen Catholic NJ), and first basemen Travis Leatherwood (Mount St. Joseph).
